why polar park?
A. Polar Park has been the new home of the AAA affiliate Boston Red Sox since 2021 and was just begging for its very first card show!
There is a ton of space both on the vending concourse as well as beyond the outfield wall for our patrons and we expect several thousand in attendance.
how is parking?
A. Worcester has several downtown parking garages, parking meters, and private lots. We recommend the Green Island Blvd Garage which is just a short walk across the street from Polar Park. There is a capacity of around 350 vehicles. Please see the rates day of the show. Max price will be $12.
what are the entry costs?
A. All attendees 9 years and above will be charged $15.00 for entry. You can buy tickets in advance OR pay via cash/credit at Gate D. We have friends/family discounted packages available through EventBrite.
but what else can we do?
The adults will likely be busy buying cards and memorabilia but do you need to keep the kids busy too while mom or dad look around? Note all activities listed here are FREE upon admission into the ballpark, including Wi-Fi.
Come and meet the WooSox mascots, Smiley and Woofster! Smiley will be available for photos at 11 AM and Woofster comes out of his den at 12 PM. They should be walking all around the concourse to greet their fans.
We have also rented out the area beyond the outfield fence. Here you will have access to an array of lawn games like Cornhole and Giant Connect Four as well as the excellent Polar Park Playground beyond center field. Here are our little ones below enjoying it this year! Parents can come out and lounge on multiple adirondack chairs, it could be the perfect spot to get card deals done that day.
A crowd favorite, Festini is back yet again with their incredible artists adding sports & pokemon stencil tattoos to children and adults! Their table will be right at the concourse entrance (Table #1) and they will be available from 10 AM - 12 PM only.
can i win anything?
We know you're here because you collect cards. Best Flippin' events pride themselves on having some of the best card giveaways in the industry.
All attendees paying the $15 entry fee will receive one door prize ticket. By placing your name and contact information on those tickets, you'll be given a chance to win one of several prizes below worth more than $1,000 in total! We will be giving away four prize packs in all, from a "Single" all the way up to a "Homerun". Winners will be drawn around 4:30 and you do not need to be present to win, they will be contacted based on phone number listed.

You can see most of the cards we are giving away as door prizes in our poster above but the "Homerun" of Tom Brady needs its own post, valued at $400!
WHERE WILL THE 122 TABLES BE located?
Below is the full map listing out all of the table numbers and specific areas within the complex. Face painting (when available), card grading and supplies will greet you as you enter. In front of Infield Fry will be some of the best vintage sports cards you'll see. Down the third base concourse will be a blend of sports and other TCG's. Then finally within the Poke Pavilion, you'll find a dozen of your favorite Pokemon sellers. Down the first base side are some of our best ultra modern high end slingers as well as the memorabilia.
Contact your favorite New England card slingers on social media to learn their table numbers in advance. We will also have a rotation on the big board all day long of vendor table numbers and where they are located.
so what can i buy here?
A. Our dealers always carry a wide variety to suite different types of budgets and tastes, from 1910 to yesterday's latest release. Some of them vend full time selling cards while others are weekend warriors. Others deal in autographs and sports memorabilia.
We have everything from the best in football, baseball, basketball, and hockey on down to the hottest Pokemon and other TCG offerings like One Piece. Below is just some of the samples of cards from our prior shows. Areas within the event will be segmented, with a "Poke Pavilion" down the third base line, labeled on the map above as SVBT 19.
The WooSox will also have their "Cap Car" open on the concourse to buy all WooSox related merchandise. Also located down the thrid base line as seen on the map. The WooSox Team Store on the first level will NOT be open on Aug. 24th.
what if i get hungry?
Polar Park has you covered! There will be two concessions behind home plate serving all of your ballpark food favorites and of course, Polar drink products. From nachos to veggie burgers, enjoy the best food Polar Park typically offers. Alcohol will also be available for patrons 21+ featuring local canned beers. There is a self-service Marketplace to quickly buy a snack and a drink (see photo below) and it includes those foods for those with allergies and gluten concerns. Kona Ice will be on hand serving up all of their best frozen Hawaiian treats later in the day beginning at noon.
are there any other rules?
The park itself will provide security for the event and all attendees will be required to go through a security check, just like the baseball games played here.
There are NO bag or case restrictions, however, the following items are not allowed:
- Outside food & beverage (all can be purchased inside the event)
- Guns, pepper spray, and knives
- Alcohol
- Glass bottles
There IS re-entry to the park with your ticket stub handed to you when you pay the admission at the door, keep the other half of it to go freely as you so choose.
While trading with other customers and selling to vendors is actively encouraged at all Best Flippin' events for the items you bring in or purchase there, please be respectful of the deals vendors are making. Selling of items to other patrons without a table inside the event is prohibited.

Polar Park in Worcester, MA will have 120+ vendor tables along the 1st base through third base concourse. Park concession stands, Kona Ice, as well as the Marketplace will be open for food and drinks including alcoholic beverages. The Green Island Blvd. parking garage across the street will be available for $12 day of show.
For those needing a hotel on 8/23/24, feel free to follow this link for the Hilton Garden Inn one mile from the stadium. Discount rate available until August 2nd, 2024.
Polar Park is fully accessible, with elevators to the concourse level the card show takes place, at the concession stands, as well as the restrooms.
